Care:  You are purchasing a piece of ART. With proper care, your new treasure will bring you pleasure for many years to come.

Pearl and opal care:  Pearls and opals are very soft and can be easily scratched or abraded.  With reasonable care, pearl and opal jewelry can be a lasting treasure.  Reasonable care means applying perfumes, cosmetics and hair spray before putting on your pearl jewelry as they react poorly to acids and alcohols.  Never clean pearl or opal jewelry in a mechanical cleaning system such as ultrasonic, steam, or boiling.  Keep your pearls and opals away from sources of heat or cold.

Jet, bone and wood care:  These are organic materials. For proper care, do not expose to moisture, or heat. Delicate handling is recommended.
